The Latin American Association of Service Exporters held its IX Annual Convention: "Latin America and the Caribbean in the 4.0 economy" on September 5 and 6, 2019 in Lima, Peru, within the framework of the International Service Forum "Peru Service Summit". The event, organized by PROMPERÚ, ALES and CCL, was a key instance to boost Latin America's position in the service sector.

The Latin American Association of Service Exporters held its VIII Annual Convention: “How to develop high value-added service exports” on October 25th and 26th in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The event, co-organized by ALES, CEI-RD and CSRD, was a key opportunity to propel Latin America’s position in the services sector.

The competition is promoted by the VIII Convention of the Latin American Association of Service Exporters (ALES), organized by the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD), the Dominican Republic Coalition of Services (CSRD) and ALES that will be held in the Dominican Republic on October 25th and 26th.

The VII Annual Convention of the Latin American Association of Service Exporters (ALES) “Towards regional convergence in the services sector” was held in Quito, Ecuador on November 15 and 16, 2017. The Convention is organized by PRO ECUADOR, FEDEXPOR and ALES.

The VI Annual Convention of the Latin American Association of Service Exporters (ALES) “From Theory to Practice in the International Trade in Services” was held in Santiago de Chile on October 12 and 13, 2016. The Convention was organized by ALES, the General Direction of International Economic Relations (DIRECON) and ProChile.

The purpose of the event was to promote Latin America’s competitiveness in the global services market. We aim at developing the region’s growth, as well as attracting FDI in high-end services and encouraging entrepreneurship.

The Latin American Association of Service Exporters had the V Annual Convention: "Global Services: Latin America in the race for talent" on August 6th and 7th in Guatemala City, Guatemala.Organized jointly by ALES, IDB, The Guatemalan Ministry of Economy and Invest in Guatemala; a remarkable event for boosting Latin America’s positioning in International Trade in Services.

The IV ALES Annual Convention, organized jointly by ALES, IADB and Argentine Chamber of Commerce, was a remarkable event for boosting Latin America’s positioning in International Trade in Services.

The Third Convention, which brought together 50 representatives from more than twenty countries, was the setting for the presentation of the "Information System for the services sector in Latin America". This is an innovative and practical tool that provides access to relevant data to exporters, investors and promotion agencies. 

The Quito Convention represents a milestone, as in that ocation the Association became an International Organization and the Information System contents were introduced

While in Bogota, the ALES members approved the first Common Regional Nomenclator about services and the methodology to measure the sector's trade
